Shared Branch IDCheck Verification

The Co-op network is taking additional steps to protect you from fraud. That’s why we’re working together to implement a new ID verification measure for in-person visits to our shared branch locations starting May 1, 2025. By doing so, we can be certain it’s you trying to access your account and not someone else.
If you bank at a Co-op shared branch location, and have an out-of-state ID, a representative will identify and authenticate members in-branch through a QR code and one-time passcode via multi-factor authentication. This additional layer of authentication will be used for cashier’s checks, withdrawals, and account inquiries.
Follow these simple steps:
- Scan the QR code in branch or visit verify.coop.org
- Select your credit union’s name from a drop-down list
- Enter your member number and the last four digits of your social security number
- Upload a photo of your ID and take a selfie. Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time!
- Show your one-time passcode to the teller (passcode is valid for 20 minutes)
