We’re Here for You, Our Members

We are Meritrust. And our promise is to know you, serve you, and to design every financial solution with care – for you. That’s why we have decided to unite our credit union under the Meritrust Credit Union name and brand. We approach banking with the same care, creativity and attention to detail you’d expect.

Meritrust Heritage

In 1935, seven employees of Stearman Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kansas, organized and chartered a credit union. Membership grew to include employees of Boeing, their suppliers and Spirit AeroSystems. In nine decades, we’ve expanded the reach of our mission from the aviation industry to local Kansas communities and beyond – and now, to Colorado.

PMCU Heritage

In 1959, seventeen Boulder Valley Schools employees organized and chartered their credit union. In the decades since, membership has grown to include employees of various technology entities, farmers, manufacturing companies and the community at large. Through a series of mergers, PMCU has expanded the reach of its mission to provide reliable and high-quality service while setting the example of sustainability for other financial institutions.

United In Brand

The purpose of our merger was to offer a wider range of products and services to a diverse membership base — including expanded digital banking tools, more comprehensive financial education, and the resources to achieve long-term growth and sustainability. The Board and Leadership made the decision to unify under one brand. That brand is Meritrust Credit Union.

What to Expect

Our team is ready to assist with any questions you might have during this transition period. This name change will take time; you will notice a gradual shift of branding in both our digital and in-person experiences. However, your banking experience will not change, and our commitment to our members is to make this integration as seamless as possible. We are excited about the next chapter of our credit union and look forward to serving you under one Meritrust brand.
