2021 Board Member Nominees


Michael A. Meyers – Board Secretary

Michael has been a credit union member since 1985 and a member of Premier Members Credit Union Board of Directors since 2010. For more than ten years, Michael has served in the capacity of Board Secretary. Michael was appointed to the Premier Board in January 2010 as part of the merger between Premier Members and Colorado United Credit Union. Michael had also served as Chairman of the Board at Colorado United Credit Union for 16 years.

Michael is semi-retired and an independent IT consultant. He has over 35 years of experience with companies like National Parks Service (NPS), HP Enterprise Services, Jeppesen, a subsidiary of Boeing, US West, Sundyne Corporation and has held multiple positions in the area of Information Systems and Technology.

Jim Ellis – Director

Jim has been a credit union member since 2002 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2002 where he held positions of Treasurer and Board Secretary. His involvement in the merger of Mile High Turkey Federal Credit Union with Premier Members led to his being invited to join the board in December 2002. Jim served on Mile High Turkey’s Board of Directors for nearly 17 years where he held positions of Treasurer and Chairman.

Jim earned his BS in Accounting from the University of Colorado and worked for Butterball/ConAgra/Longmont Foods for twenty-three years. He was the assistant controller and was in charge of Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Payroll, Fixed Assets and Live Production. He is currently broker/owner of The New Century Group, a Real Estate Sales and Property Management firm.

Brian Gisi – Director

Brian has been a member of Premier Members Credit Union since 1986 and joined the Board of Directors in 2015. Brian joined the Supervisory Committee in 2002 and served on the Board of Directors Advisory Board since 2007.

Brian has worked for IBM for the last 23 years. In his current role as Americas Infrastructure Leader, he provides leadership for a team supporting data center operations in North and South America with a portfolio of two million square feet of raised floor and an annual operating budget in excess of $300 million. His responsibilities include portfolio financial management, client satisfaction and delivery, strategic analysis and planning, and operations management.

Brian’s past experience includes disaster recovery, manufacturing and production operations.

Wayne Turnacliff – Director

Wayne has been a Premier Members Credit Union (PMCU) member since 1979, a member of Boulder Valley Credit Union (BVCU) Board of Directors since 2001 and has served as the Chairman of the BVCU Board and the PMCU Board.

He is a retired Vice President of Production and Test Operations from Ball Aerospace with 18 years of service. Prior to moving to the Board, Mr. Turnacliff served on the BVCU Supervisory Committee.

Harvey A. Kamionka – Vice Chair

Harvey has been a member of Premier Members Credit Union since 1995 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2012, and as Treasurer since 2013. Before joining the board, he spent four-and-a-half years on the Advisory Board and participated in the Asset Liability Management Committee. Additionally, he also spent more than a decade on the credit union’s Supervisory Committee, the last five as committee chairman.

Harvey holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Masters of Business Administration from Regis University. He currently works at Dish Network as a Product Owner. Prior to Dish Network, he led software development and quality teams at Oracle, Sun Microsystems and Storagetek.
