2026 Board Member Nominees

The Meritrust Credit Union Nominating Committee has nominated the following individuals for the 2026 Board of Directors election process:

Hector Cortez

Hector Cortez has been with The Boeing Company (formerly Spirit AeroSystems) for 12 years (most recently since 2023) and is currently the Assistant Corporate Controller. He has served on the Board of Directors since 2025 and has served Meritrust for 15 years, having previously served on the Board of Directors, Asset-Liability Management Committee and Supervisory Committee. Mr. Cortez earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at University of Texas at Arlington. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Brian Cox

Brian Cox has been with Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers since 2022 and is currently the Director of Accounting. He has served on the Board of Directors since 2025 and has served Meritrust for 7 years, having previously served on the Supervisory Committee. Mr. Cox earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Pittsburgh State University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and an MBA at Wichita State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Steven Dunn

Steven Dunn retired from Boeing after 42 years, where he served as the B-52 Program Manager. He has served on the Board of Directors since 1986 and has served Meritrust for 40 years, having previously served on the Supervisory Committee. Mr. Dunn earned his Bachelor of Business and MBA from Wichita State University. Mr. Dunn also serves as Board Chair of Meritrust Financial Solutions, LLC.

Joel Duty

Joel Duty has been with Airbus Americas since 2005 and is currently the Head of North American Digital Cybersecurity. He has served on the Board of Directors since 2024. Mr. Duty earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Kansas and his Master of Arts in Information Technology Management from Webster University.

Misty High

Misty High has been with Cargill since 2005 and is currently the Senior Vice President, Value Added Protein. She has served on the Board of Directors since 2023. Ms. High earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Wichita State University.

Sheuch-Fong Hsu

Sheuch-Fong Hsu retired from Sundyne after 22 years, where she served as Senior Financial Analyst. She has served on the Board of Directors since 2024 and has served Meritrust for 24years, having previously served on the Supervisory Committee. Ms. Hsu earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Utah, a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Houston, and an MBA from DeVry University.

Gwendolen Horsch

Gwen Horsch has been with The Boeing Company (formerly Spirit AeroSystems) since 2020 and is currently the Vice President & Deputy General Counsel. She has served on the Board of Directors since 2022. Ms. Horsch earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Wichita State University, her MBA from Newman University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas. She is a member of the Kansas Bar Association.

Brian Middleton

Brian Middleton is President of D&O Engineering as well as President of Aero-Spaces, LLC. He has been at those companies for 43 years and 16 years respectively. Mr. Middleton has served on the Board of Directors since 2017 and has served Meritrust for 21 years, having previously served on the Supervisory Committee and Credit Committee. Mr. Middleton earned his Bachelors of Aviation Science from College of the Ozarks.

The Annual meeting will be March 26, 2026, 3:30 MT, at 360 Interlocken Blvd., 1st Floor, Broomfield, CO 80021

Nominations for vacancies may also be made by petition signed by one percent (1%) of the Meritrust Credit Union members with a minimum of 20 signatures and a maximum of 500 signatures. Nominees by petition shall submit a statement of qualifications and biographical data with the petition, together with a signed certificate that they are agreeable to nomination and will serve if elected to office. Such nominations shall be filed with the Secretary of the Meritrust Credit Union Board of Directors by February 4, 2026, and the Secretary shall cause such nominations along with those of the Nominating Committee to be posted in a conspicuous place in the credit union’s principal office at least 35 days prior to the annual meeting.
